Ehlimana Mušija

Ehlimana Mušija, author of the picture book Asja, ribareva kći was born, lives and works in Sarajevo as a specialist cardiologist. She is the mother of three children who are a great source of inspiration for her. In her free time under the pseudonym dr. Mana, she writes stories for children and youth and practices integrative medicine. She works on picture books for children in collaboration with an academic painter and with professional support from the field of gestalt psychotherapy. With her work, she wants to encourage new authors from Bosnia and Herzegovina to create quality picture books, so that literature continues to be a tool for the growth, understanding and emotional health of the youngest. Her mission is to contribute to positive educational processes through language, story and empathy.
